This site was created by a group of BBQ lovers that details their battles with the heat, the sauce, and most importantly - the beer. While they aren’t professionals their passion for the grill is unmatched. Read more about who these individuals are and what they believe in as they Blog ‘n Que.

Oh, oh, oh, oh, Oldangerous! Good equipment and good materials is the name of the game. Gear snob? No, just appreciative of well produced items and good ingredients. Never cook the same thing (the same way) twice.
Ribs, ribs, ribs! I will grill any cut of pork out there but I love ribs. I prefer to grill/smoke spare ribs over baby backs and I like KC style sauce over Carolina although I think all sauces have their place. BBQ'ing is my therapy, I love sitting out side with an ice cold beer and smelling the smoke.
For me, finding time to just sit around is the hardest part of all of this. Sitting still for very long isn't something I do well. When I have managed to, the meat coming from my less the cheap set up has included baby back ribs, pork roast (shredded afterwards with sauce & cole slaw on top...mmmmm), beef brisket, and a whole chicken or two.
Like everyone else, Brats and dogs are usually what I eat while waiting for the other items to get done.
Through trial and error, and trust me a whole lot of error, I've managed to somehow not kill anyone with my cooking.

Keeps the BBQ'ing simple. Anything more complicated than burgers, brats, and dogs and he's ordering out. If the beer is cold and the coals are hot please invite him over.
